Eid Mubarak from the Tarbiya Institute!
The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has announced that Friday, June 7th, will mark the first day of Dhul Hijjah. Therefore, the day of ‘Arafah will be Saturday, June 15th, and Eid al-Adha 1445AH will be Sunday, June 16th, 2024.
We remind the community to start planning for the blessed first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, about which the Prophetic teaching states that “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” [Bukhari]. This includes fasting the day of ‘Arafah about which the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Fasting the day of `Arafah expiates the sins of two years: the past one and the coming one.” [Muslim].
Tarbiya Institute will celebrate Eid ul-Adha on Sunday, June 16th with two shifts of prayer at Tarbiya House Roseville, Natomas, and Elk Grove with the Takebeerat starting at 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM. We will hold one, unified Eid celebration in the evening at Tarbiya House Roseville at 7:00 PM!
May Allah (SWT) always bless us with days to celebrate our faith and our growing community. Eid Mubarak to our Tarbiya family!
