Brothers Camp Recap

Camp Tabarak for the brothers was a huge success. The youth gathered in a cabin in Nevada City and spent the weekend exploring the concept of Taffakur.  They prayed tahajjud together, went hiking, kayaking, did archery and much more. When they arrived, their phones were taken away and after a short 48 hrs of bonding, created new relationships and grew one step closer to each other and their Creator.

Sisters Camp Recap

The sisters Camp Tabarak weekend was an incredible experience!

The youth gathered in a cabin in Nevada City and spent the weekend exploring the concept of Taffakur. They prayed tahajjud together, went hiking, kayaking, did archery and much more. Imam Kamran shared a beautiful khatirah and the youth spent the rest of the evening looking at the night sky and reflecting on Allah SWTs perfection—and the lack of glitch in the sky. Imam Azeez  provided important perspective and inspired a love for Allah SWT with his lecture. His guidance and outlook on society taught our girls how to be unapologetically Muslim. Every one of these girls felt a sense of belonging through their Muslim identity and that was a powerful reminder of impact of programs such as the Youth Camp.
