Tarbiya Annual Banquet

Muhammad ﷺ: The Cultivator of the Earth

Throughout this year, Tarbiya Institute has explored the meaning of Imarat ul-Ard—our responsibility to cultivate, build, and bring goodness to the earth as servants of Allah (SWT). But what does it look like to truly live that responsibility? We need only look to the life of the Prophet Muhammad (S). For more than a decade, Tarbiya Institute has sought to honor his life and carry his extraordinary legacy forward. This fall, our Annual Banquet brings our theme of Imarat ul-Ard back to the one who embodied it most beautifully.

Muhammad (S): The Cultivator of the Earth

He cultivated hearts and raised people. He built community, established justice, cared for the vulnerable, and planted seeds of faith and goodness whose fruits we continue to benefit from today. His life showed us that cultivating the earth is not merely about what we build, but about what we leave behind. Join us for a special evening featuring Imam Tom Facchine, Shaun King, Imam M. A. Azeez, and nasheed artist Shaykh Abdussalam Hawwa, as we reflect on the Prophetic model of Imarat ul-Ard—and what it asks of us today. This year, we have asked what it means to cultivate the earth. This October, we return to the one who showed us how.
