Youth

Children are our most precious amanah from Allah ﷻ and we know how hard it is as parents to make sure your child receives a comprehensive and balanced foundation in Islamic knowledge. At Tarbiya we are grateful for the trust you place in us, and for the opportunity to be part of your child's education. We have spent hours researching and developing dynamic programs for the youth where fun, Islamic education and the bonds of friendship merge to provide a positive and healthy Muslim American identity. We strive to share the heritage of Islam with our children, so that the next generation may be even stronger in faith than us.

A few of the services we offer for the youth include Annual Youth Retreat, Youth Group, IQ Summer Hifdh Intensive, Nizami Order, Sunday School, Youth Soccer, Mommy&Me, Late Night Hoops, the Wareth Program, Tarbiya Justice League, and much more! In addition to these youth-specific services, we strongly encourage parents to bring their children with them to all Tarbiya Institute programs!

wareth 1

The Wareth Program

A rigorous academic training program that aspires to train young men that will commit their lives to Allah (swt) by serving as the next generation of Imams. The word wareth in Arabic means heir. In the Prophetic tradition, the scholars are the "heirs" of the prophets. This program aims to instill the dignity of the Deen into the hearts of a select group of men - putting them on track to be carriers of Prophetic knowledge and heirs of Islamic scholarship. The Wareth Program is a 5-year educational and mentorship experience that is led directly by Tarbiya Institute's Senior Imam, Mohamed Abdul-Azeez. Admission is extremely limited and highly competitive.

Interested? Send us an email with your resume and a personal statement to [email protected].
