God and Philosophy is the foundational course from which Imam Azeez’s first book, The Imam and the Atheist, emerged. This thought-provoking class explores the relationship between faith and reason, examining classical and contemporary rational arguments for the existence of God while addressing the intellectual challenges belief faces in a secular age.
Tarbiya Institute is pleased to present a condensed version of this course, “God and Philosophy: A Weekend Intensive,” held at Tarbiya House Roseville on June 19 – 21 and taught by Imam Azeez. Over the course of three days, participants will be introduced to key concepts from the original class, engage with some of the most common questions surrounding faith and God, and gain tools to help cultivate confident, faithful minds in modern times.
The workshop will begin with an introductory session on Friday night, followed by full sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Registration is required, and lunch will be provided.
