Tarbiya Institute & Reed Society for the Sacred Arts cordially invite you to Light upon Light: An Islamic Arts Exhibition. Through a vibrant display of classical Islamic artwork, informational and interactive displays, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops, we intend for this exhibition to be a captivating and immersive experience for everyone. The exhibition will highlight historically preserved and sacred Islamic art forms such as calligraphy, geometry, illumination, architecture, and more, inviting the community to appreciate the spiritual bond between Islam and its artistic traditions.

Living in a fast-paced world where almost anything can be done with a quick swipe, click, or scroll, this exhibition will offer a space for the community to appreciate "slow art" in a fast paced world, admire the fine details of the Islamic art traditions, and understand the years of practice and dedication that these classical art forms require.
