Join us this Friday for Removing the Stigma: Mental Health in the Muslim Community, an evening with MAS SSF dedicated to raising awareness, overcoming stigma, and promoting timely and effective support for mental health challenges. Too often, mental health struggles are misunderstood or left unaddressed due to cultural taboos or fear of judgment. This event will explore how faith, compassion, and community play a critical role in creating safe spaces for open conversations and early intervention. The panel will include Sr. Gulshan Yousefzai, Executive Director of MAS SSF, and Sr. Nazia Khan, LMFT and Chair of the Mental Health Committee. They will share professional expertise, personal insights, and practical strategies to help us support those in need and foster a healthier and understanding community.
