History is traditionally taught in a boring and very robotic way, focusing on a dynasty, pros and cons, failures, and accolades. It is the victors that write the narrative. But what if this wasn't the most effective method? Often history overlooks the true catalysts of progress and advancement. The Seminary department is doing something to change this. They are working to re-tell the secrets of history by highlighting the critical role of mentorship, or lack thereof, that brought us the world as we know it today, and what will shape our future generations.
Join us on Tuesday, August 8th for a collaboration between the Roseville Soul Sisters and Tarbiya Seminary at 6:30 pm, where Imam Sherif will promote his upcoming class, The Scholar and the King. This will be a potluck event so bring your best balanced main dish to share!
