Sr. Mariyam Ali-Azam

Mariyam Ali Azam is the author of the children’s books, “Are Butterflies in the Qur’an?” and “Nusayba Knows Her Worth.” She is the Acquisitions Editor for the Institute for Muslim Advancement and Renewal (IMAR). Mariyam also leads the children’s program, Polished Mirror, at Tarbiya Institute, and serves as a mentor for the Nizami program. Mariyam is a homeschooling parent and considers her most important role to be that of her daughters’ teacher.
