Our mission is to operate a dynamic, purpose-built Family Life Center that provides premier physical, intellectual, and social amenities much needed by the family, while creating a self-sustaining ecosystem that generates the financial resources necessary to serve the community, support its operations, and secure its long-term financial independence.
Tarbiya Roseville | Phase II
Vision
To be the self-sustaining, premier hub where every member of the family flourishes holistically—body, mind, and soul—and contributes to a vibrant, unified community.
Background
Our mission is not simply to build a facility, but to cultivate a space where faith is lived, hearts are nurtured, families are strengthened, and community becomes a means of drawing closer to Allah. The vision of a purpose-built Family Life Center is rooted in service—offering physical, intellectual, and social spaces that uplift the ummah while creating a sustainable model that secures the community’s ability to serve for generations to come.
This journey began with the blessing of a home. On January 19, 2019, the close of escrow at 10031 Foothills Blvd marked a turning point for Tarbiya House Roseville and Tarbiya Institute in Roseville—a place that would grow into far more than a building. It became a sanctuary for prayer, a home for knowledge, and a gathering place for hearts seeking connection, guidance, and purpose.
Within its walls, Jumuʿah prayers, Ramadan nights, and Eid celebrations have brought the community together in remembrance and gratitude. Students have learned, youth have found belonging, families have built bonds, and seekers have found direction. The Foothills location became the center for Tarbiya Institute’s work—Nizami, Chaplaincy, Seminary, and Taʿleem—while hosting youth education, sports, annual gatherings, halaqas, and community support circles. Even everyday moments—shared conversations, coffee, and connection at Tarbiya Cafe—have become acts of community-building and care.
By the grace of Allah and the sacrifice of this community, the property was fully paid off, expanded multiple times, and every inch was filled with purpose and service. What once felt spacious is now alive with activity at every hour—evidence of a dream that continues to grow.
Today, we stand at a moment of reflection and responsibility. The need has outgrown the space, but the vision has only deepened. A Family Life Center is not just the next project—it is the next amanah. A place where worship and learning continue side by side, where youth are anchored, families are supported, and future generations inherit a living legacy of faith, service, and belonging.
This is not only about building walls—it is about building hearts, strengthening community, and planting something that will continue to benefit others long after us. A sadaqah jariyah. A home for the ummah. A space where purpose, faith, and community come together for the sake of Allah.
Why expand?
As our community grows, so does our amanah—to create a space that nurtures faith, strengthens families, and supports every member of the Muslim household.
We envision a larger musallah filled with worshippers, more classrooms for rapidly growing programs, and environments where families can connect in halal, uplifting social spaces. Youth will be engaged through sports and meaningful activities, women will have dedicated areas for health and wellness, and professionals will benefit from co-working spaces, retail opportunities, and pathways to entrepreneurship.
This vision also creates dignified job opportunities within a faith-centered environment while generating sustainable income to support operations and ensure long-term independence. At its heart, it will be a home for knowledge, arts, and sciences—where learning, creativity, and worship come together.
More than expansion, this is a legacy in the making: a space where every prayer, every lesson, and every opportunity becomes a means of serving Allah and uplifting the community for generations to come.
