We will also visit the ancient mosques and schools that represent the post Mongol Islamic era, and the great culture and history that were established on the Silk Road. Our group will be accompanied by Uzbek local Imams who are well versed in history and Islamic teachings, and speak English fluently to expose us to that incredible history. Uzbekistan is optional.
