The Battle of Mu'tah as a Turning Point
In the 7th year of the Prophetic Mission of Muhammad ﷺ, the Muslims finally had some respite from the constant battles for survival.
Now the Ummah would have a chance to blossom under the shade of hard-earned peace. So how did Rasulullah respond when that peace was unexpectedly violated? Did he close the community off? Did he try to appease the violators? We find ourselves facing similar decisions today; we have much to learn from how God’s Messenger responded.
