We are inundated with Christmas lights, images of ornate trees and scenes of children lining up to make requests from Santa. This often comes with questions from the Muslim community. Is it halal to participate? Should we offer holiday greetings? Can I watch Christmas movies? Isn’t it weird if we separate ourselves from the festivities which seem harmless?
