The TRIBE

Lasting brotherhood that stood the test of time, and a commitment to a cause beyond one’s immediate needs.

It is often said that you can only know someone when you travel with them. Turns out that you get to know someone very intimately when you eat with them, pray and play with them, study the Deen with them, confide in them and trust them to have your back and be your kid's parents after their parents. The TRIBE is a band of brothers in our community who came together 3 years ago to seek each other’s support, brotherhood and friendship, to only be astonished at the doors that Allah (SWT) opened for them. They studied Imam Ghazali’s great work, The Revival of Religious Sciences, hiked, traveled, and volunteered together, serving Allah (SWT) by serving the Tarbiya Community. And the results? A lasting brotherhood that stood the test of time, and a commitment to a cause beyond one’s immediate needs. The TRIBE brothers grew spiritually and intellectually together and became one of the most foundational volunteer groups of our community. But it wasn’t just the brothers. The wives got together and the children connected together. What started off as a group of 20 guys, became, well, a TRIBE of 100. A few days ago, the TRIBE celebrated its 3-year anniversary. On to new adventures, inshaa’ Allah!
