The month of Safar is perhaps one of the most overlooked months of the entire Islamic Calendar. Yet, it is the month in which Rasulullah ﷺ and Khadija (r) were married! Couples love to celebrate their own wedding anniversaries, should we not at least commemorate the marriage of our beloved Prophet to our beloved mother of the believers? That is why we have decided to dedicate this month of Safar in this year of resilience as the Month of the Muslim Family. In a world of failing marriages and broken families, we are grateful for the guidance of Islam. Today we will focus on the role of wives.
