2022 Youth Retreat
This year's retreat will focus on exploring the qualities of
Ibad-ur-Rahman (Servants of the Most Gracious)
As presented in the last section of Surat al-Furqan. We will cover the fundamental qualities of the true believer, including: humility, frugality, chastity, honesty, and the importance of prayer/dua. The retreat aims to achieve a transformation: youth attendees will be completely off the grid for one week, detached from material distractions, electronic devices and modern day conventions. They will focus on building spirituality, brotherhood/sisterhood and a robust moral structure. Ultimately, our goal is to help our youth live a resilient and godly life, to achieve happiness and fulfillment in this Dunya, and Jannah in the next.
Allah swt says in Surat al-Furqan
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يُجْزَوْنَ ٱلْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةً وَسَلَـٰمًا
It is they who will be rewarded with elevated mansions in Paradise for their perseverance and will be received with salutations and greetings of peace [25:75]
