Inspired by the Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ mission to perfect noble character, this course explores key traits of a Muslim through the timeless insights of Imam al-Ghazali’s The Muslim Character. Building on last year’s study of friendship, fulfilling promises, mercy, and modesty, this summer we will continue our journey by examining strength, tolerance, and pardon, overcoming enmity, and making the most of our time. Through modern analysis and practical application, theis course aims to help students embody the character of the Prophet ﷺ, who was described by Allah as being of the highest moral standard (Surah al-Qalam: 4).
